About Riverside
We'll use Riverside to capture the recording and video. You don't need to download anything or create an account — simply click the link in your calendar invite to join directly from your browser. Riverside works best on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge; please ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.
Find a quiet space
Choose a room where you can minimize background noise and interruptions.
Close extra tabs and apps
Close out of extra browser tabs, heavy applications, and messaging apps (like Slack or Teams) before joining. This helps your computer use maximum processing power.
Use a reliable internet connection
A strong, stable connection is ideal. If possible, connecting close to your Wi-Fi router works best.
Use Chrome or Edge
Riverside works best on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Please ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.
Set your camera at eye level
Position your computer or camera so you're looking naturally toward the lens.
Face your light source
Position your main light source (like a window or desk lamp) in front of you, pointing toward your face. Avoid bright windows directly behind you, which can turn you into a silhouette.
Use headphones or a microphone if available
External headphones (even simple earbuds) and an external microphone are the best way to prevent echo or audio feedback. They're not required, but they can help improve audio quality.
Silence notifications
Pause Slack, email, text, and calendar notifications before we begin.
Turn off your corporate VPN
If connected to a company VPN or firewall, please turn it off. Corporate networks often block live video feeds.
Bring water
We'll be talking for a while. Keep some nearby.
Keep your browser open until upload completes
Because Riverside records files locally to your computer, please keep your browser window open until you see the video reach 100% upload (takes roughly 1-2 minutes after the interview) to allow your video file to finish uploading to our cloud.
On Recording Day
When you join the link, you'll enter a virtual green room where you can check your camera and mic preview before entering the "studio."
After the conversation
We'll take it from here.
Once recording wraps, Clearstart handles the production and launch process. One GrowthDx conversation can become several ways for your perspective to reach the healthcare community.
